Trust me, I bought the BenQ GW2790C 27-inch Full HD monitor a few months ago, and I’ve been really happy with it. I personally use it every day, and the overall quality has been great so far.

The display looks good, it feels well-built, and it works really well for everyday tasks, work, entertainment, and gaming. I also spend quite a few hours in front of it, and so far, I’ve had a very good experience with it.

For me, it’s definitely one of the best monitors I’ve used, especially for the price.

I also use it for editing my YouTube videos and designing website themes, and it has worked really well for both. The IPS panel delivers vibrant and detailed visuals with 99% sRGB color coverage. The 144Hz refresh rate also makes everything feel noticeably smoother, whether I’m gaming, scrolling through websites, or watching videos.

let me explain my experience one-by-one here:

Smooth 144Hz Performance

It comes with you a 1920 × 1080 Full HD resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and 5ms response time, the GW2790C offers fluid motion and responsive visuals. AMD FreeSync/Adaptive Sync helps reduce screen tearing when gaming with compatible hardware.

IPS Display with 99% sRGB

The 27-inch IPS panel provides wide viewing angles and vibrant, consistent colors. With 99% sRGB coverage and a 1500:1 contrast ratio, it is suitable for browsing, office work, content consumption, casual photo editing, and gaming.

USB-C and Flexible Connectivity

The monitor includes USB-C with DisplayPort Alt Mode, along with HDMI 1.4 and DisplayPort 1.2, making it easy to connect modern laptops, desktops, and other compatible devices. The four-sided ultrathin bezel gives the monitor a clean, contemporary appearance and maximizes the visual area.

Eye-Care Features for Long Sessions

BenQ’s Eye-Care technologies are designed for extended viewing. The GW2790C features Flicker-Free technology, Low Blue Light, ePaper mode, and Visual Optimizer, with TÜV-certified eye-care features intended to make prolonged screen use more comfortable.
